Growing Flowers for Cutting a talk by Sophie Leathart
Wye Gardeners talks are held in Wye Small Village Hall and start at 7.30pm please arrive after 7.00pm
Wye Gardeners Welcome you to a talk by Sophie Leathart
Winner of a Gold Medal at Chelsea for the Cayeux Iris display and loves all flowers
She will talk about flowers that people might like to consider growing for their own cut flower patch, including how to extend the season.
Following the talk, she will give a short demonstration about creating a flower arrangement using flowers from her garden in chicken wire, rather than floral foam.
Everyone is welcome to come to our talks.
Why not join the society and come to all of our talks for free, its only £5 for the rest of the year.
Otherwise we charge £5 for each talk if you are not a member.
We hope you will join us in October.
As usual there will be a raffle after the talk followed by refreshments.
